Welcome to Episdose 5 of Ultra Quest. My name is Tim, just an average guy from North Carolina on a journey to be an ultra runner. I’m going to keep this intro brief since this episode will be much longer than the 40-50 minutes that I shoot for. On January 11th I had the privilege of meeting Anton Krupicka. He is making appearances around the country in conjunction with his sponsor New Balance to help promote their new trail shoe, the MT110. Anton made a presentation at Run For Your Life running store in Charlotte, NC. Anton Spoke at length about is running career followed by a Q&A session. Anton has got to be one of the coolest guys I’ve met. He was very personable and enjoyed getting pictures with everyone. I was able to record the presentation. Hope you enjoy!

Come along with me as I tackle my first Ultra, the Duncan Ridge Trail 50k in the mountains of NE Georgia. This race was insanely tough. Over 10,000ft of elevation gain and loss over 31 miles. My buddy, Mark, and I talk about the race we just finished as we head back home to North Carolina.

Welcome to my new little babblecast I call Ultra Quest. I'm just a simple guy from North Carolina on a quest to become an Ultra runner. Come with me as I head out for a long run and record a bit to get started in the podcasting world.
